Sometimes our resolve and enthusiasm flag a little. Inspiration seems to wane and we falter on our path. We can feel overwhelmed by the distance we think we still have to travel.
Our yoga practice is no different from the rest of life in this respect.
This week I invite you to work with the theme ‘inspiration’.
What inspires you? Is it watching advanced practitioners? Or, is it observing the progress that you’ve made? The changes in your body and mind as a result of hard work. Whatever works for you, dedicate your practice to connecting to the inspiration that will see you continue your progress towards a stronger, fitter, more flexible and calm you.
Gentle and sustained effort will see us all achieve our goals. Just keep walking, step by step.
