Emerging from Hibernation by Jacquelyn
Are you ready for Spring?
I know that the weather isn’t necessarily co-operating right now but it feels to me like Spring is on the way. The signs are there, I saw some beautiful blue jays on the way home. Change is on the horizon.
We’ll probably still experience a ‘false dawn’ but we’re nearly there. That’s not to say that winter hasn’t been beautiful, those blue skies and clear days are stunning, but I feel ready for some warmer weather and the shift in energy it will bring.
The clocks change on Sunday morning and the days are getting longer, it’s time to emerge from hibernation and see our friends and neighbours again.
If you’ve been on a break, maybe it’s time to get back to your mat too. It’s a time for freshness, lightness and colour, move towards Spring by finding those sensations in your practice.
To help you commit to your practice we’ve introduced a monthly yoga challenge. This is your chance to commit to yourself and your practice.
You decide how many times you’ll practice in March and what you’re dedicating your practice to and then simply record your practices. You are only accountable to yourself, we’re just helping you make a commitment.
Come on out of your cave, join us and get practicing. In my classes this week we’ll be connecting to a sense of freshness and new beginnings.
