Feel the need for a little space?
This week my classes are going to focus on creating space for ourselves. Space for our yoga practice, space to let go and just be who we really are.
I have always thought that yoga classes can be inspiring places. One of the best illustrations of this is when you go into a class that is nearly full. No one needs to speak, every one shifts a few inches one way or the other, acknowledging the space that you need and a space is created for you to practice in.
This phenomenon always makes me warm in fuzzy inside. We all need space to be ourselves and when you think there isn’t room for you, everyone shifts and creates a space for you. I truly believe this is a microcosm that can be applied to the rest of your life. When you need space, that space will unfold in front of you.
